Reflections

About me

I was born in Brazil, where I studied psychology/psychotherapy before I decided to live abroad for a year or two and ended up landing in the United Kingdom in 2019. Needless to say that my original plan didn't quite came to pass, as it's now 2026 and I'm still here. Here I study massage therapy, fell in love, worked in a lot of different sectors, lived in a lot of different houses, had to deal with the loss of a loved one and learned how to ride a bike, started painting, climbing, played music... here I cried, I laughed, I discovered new emotions, discovered more about myself. My goal with this blog is to share a bit about my thought, my experiences, my processes, as a therapist, as an educator, as an artist, as another human being in the hope that it might help other people out there to know that, they are not alone and that feelings can be overwhelming and they can be beautiful, because, at the end of the day, despite all my interests, hobbies, jobs, feelings, I'm just doing the best I can, I am just me, Just Alice.
